In Marie Antoinette's Louboutins
The French shoe designer Christian Louboutin has released a new shoe line that is pricey and fabulous that just launched in the US last week! The new line features inspiration from Marie Antoinette. He collaborated with Jean-Francois Lesage, an embroiderer, to come up with show stopping blue, pink, and yellow heels. Accompanying the shoes is a customized shoe box for the shoes and a book containing construction details of the heels. To capitalize on the originality of these heels, there were only 36 pairs created and they are being sold in Christian Louboutin’s Madison Avenue’s boutique. The cost of these heels is $6,295 and seems to appeal to the fashion savvy celebrity or shoe loving big spender. We hear actress Kirsten Dunst, who played the ill-fated queen in Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette, snagged a pair for free!
