Alexander McQueen has a new creative director! Sarah Burton, formerly the head designer for womenswear for the label will now step into this new position and oversee the direction and development of all labels for Alexander McQueen. Burton graduated from London's Central Saint Martins college in '97 and worked closely with the late designer for 14 years. “The creation of modern, beautifully crafted clothes was at the heart of Lee’s vision.
