Get Her Look: Catherine Zeta-Jones
Whether she’s on screen, in print, or on the red-carpet Catherine Zeta-Jones is a Hollywood glamour girl.Ever wonder just how she does it? Dark lips, flawless skin, and to-die-for designer garb doesn’t even compare to the styling mysteries behind the starlet’s sleek tresses. But wait; there is hope for us hairstyling-challenged just yet. CZJ hair stylist David Babaii himself has released the secrets for the raven-haired beauty’s hair how-to’s. Just follow these step-by-step instructions to re-create Catherine’s shimmering strands at the 37th AFI Lifetime Achievement Awards.
1. Towel-dry hair to remove any excess water.
2. Warm a small amount of David Babaii for WildAid Hair Polish in palms and apply through the hair. The warmth from hands will seal the hair cuticle while repairing and strengthening strands, and boosting mega-watt shine.
3. Section-off hair first by top, sides, and back. Blow-dry hair straight by section (starting at nape of the neck and working your way up through the head) using a David Babaii for WildAid Blow-dryer, nozzle attachment, and a large non-metal round brush. David Babaii advises to avoid metal brushes because they tend to generate excess heat that bake the hair.
4. After hair is completely dried,re-divide hair back into sections by top, sides, and back. Once again, start at the nape of the neck, comb first, and then straighten small sections at a time with a David Babaii for WildAid Styling Flat Iron with Tourmaline and Ceramic Technology. Create Catherine Zeta-Jones mirror finish by reapplying a small amount of David Babaii for WildAid Hair Polish through strands.
5. Make your friends jealous when you show-off your celeb-inspired and professionally styled tresses!
WildAid supports beauty in nature with innovative ingredients free from sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, animal products, and free from all animal testing. Ten percent of all profits benefit the global wildlife conservation organization to help save endangered animals.
