Christopher Kane’s Cosmic SS11 Menswear Collection
Interview magazine unveils the Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2011 men's collection in a shoot by Alex Sainsbury. The London-based designer tells the magazine of his debut menswear effort, "I became obsessed with the explosions and landscapes from space pictures. I loved the colors and unbelievable detail. I printed them onto simple shapes like loose-fit t-shirts, cashmere and silk mix knit sweaters, and cardigans. Tailoring came in the shape of soft black leather suit jackets with zip detail and sporty leather shorts."
The shoot features models Tom Lander, Callum Wilson, Danny Arter, Jamel Gordon-Lynch, James Ross, Joe Fleming and Felix with styling by John McCarty. Note, only the tops are by Christopher Kane. The models wear trousers by Levi’s, Wrangler, Burberry and Acne. Courtesy of - Homotography
