The Mayor's Fashion Council Industry Night

The Mayor's Fashion Council hosted a networking event tonight for fashion mavens in the city. Boutique owners, fashion editors, designers and students gathered at the Hard Rock Hotel for a meet and greet of the city's movers and shakers in the field of fashion. Guests enjoyed a plentiful amount of hors d' oeuvres like ceviche from China Grill, while sipping on Divine Vodka cocktails. On display were looks from local Chicago designers, Yana German of Yana Collection, Kristin Rosynek Hassan of organiK Revolution, Kate Coxworth of Kate Boggiano, Agga B Raya of Agga B., Glenn Mallory of 6ACE and Lidia Wachowska of Evil Kitty (pictured below from left to right). In a room flocked with fashionistas, we couldn't help but find some lust-worthy clothing and accessories that we loved.

Oh, Jenn Lake (of Skirt PR), how bad do we want your Hermès handbag! The black bag is the most coveted bag of our time and Jenn's investment piece couldn't be any more chic. Jenn snagged her bag at an auction held at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers. While we absolutely adore Jenn's black Hermès, we found this crocodile Kelly bag on Ebay for $12,000. Click Here for details! Happy Bidding! Jewelry Designer Tracey Mayer is one of the most stylish women we know and tonight was no different with her statement making red top, cinched at the waist with a black patent belt. She was wearing her gorgeous Cinnabar ring from her collection, Tracey Mayer, $450, www.traceymayer.com.
We instantly fell in love with this red bow blouse, rouge by avion feminin that's available at ShopJake.com. Was $550, now $330.
We love how fashion writer Heather Kenny accented her black dress with an eye-catching oversized necklace! We thought it was vintage, but she snagged it at H & M! While we love budget pieces too, we couldn't help but get taken away with the oversized necklaces at Vivre. This Pompadour Necklace by Dori Csengeri goes for $1,475. If it's good enough for Madame de Pompadour, it's good enough for us. Shop Vivre.
