It's the new Mr. Peanut ad featuring the voice of none other than brilliant actor Robert Downey Jr! Mister Downey is said to be a "key part of a new campaign with a 30 plus million estimated budget, accoridng to the NY Times.
Jason Levine, senior director for marketing at Planters, was quoted sayings,“Having him able to speak is bringing him to life as a personality, and people can engage with him more.”
If you kiddas wanted to know the exact same thought that came to my mind upon first hearing this story, Mr.Peanut will maintain his trademark top hat, cane and monocle! Hurrah for that. But their is a twist! His new look will be more covered-up and exposing less of his naked shell thanks to a gray flannel suit!
