A Look At Thakoon's Addition
Panichgul Thakoon is a designer who is showing his true colors or, shall we say, prints this season. Not only is the designer well-known for his exquisite designs, but he was recently recognized for his role in dressing Michelle Obama for the Democratic National Convention in Denver during the month of August. He decided to give consumers a small glimpse into what we could expect from his new collection. The collection being launched is the Thakoon Addition, which includes designs that are of a couture nature, but appeal to the everyday consumer. The collection is comprised of micro-florals and micro-leopard featured on dresses and skirtsuits. Of course, anyone who favors Thakoon is aware that floral and leopard are some of his commonly used prints. The collection will be available in Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Kirna Zabete, and Capitol in the beginning of May. Thakoon shares his thoughts about the new collection stating, Thakoon Addition can be a home for recurring pieces as well; looks my customers want from me, consistently.”
