2011's Grammy Music Tribute to Aretha Franklin Ft. Christina Aguilera

If you give a tribute to Aretha Franklin you must round up the greatest vocalist in todays music to meet that challenge. The Grammy panel invited Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Florence and the Machine Florence Welch, Martina McBride and Yolanda Adams to pay homage to the voice that molded their own.

Two voices stood out amongst the talented quintet, gospel legend Yolanda Adams and pop superstar Christina Aguilera engulfed the oxygen out of the room with their on key, larger than life vocals and emotion that is needed to perform to the levels of the great Aretha Franklin.

After the show, someone else agreed with our opinion. The Queen of Soul herself had this to say about the performance
I LOVED it! The ladies all sounded so wonderful and they looked fabulous! All of them were dressed to the nines! I enjoyed each and every performance, especially Yolanda Adams doing "Spirit In The Dark" and Christina Aguilera's rendition of "Ain't No Way," Loved them all! They all looked beautiful, I really liked Jennifer Hudson's outfit, those epaulettes on her shoulder pads were too sharp! Bravo ladies!!!

RESPECT was paid in full. Watch the hard to find video below!
