Nicki Minaj Is Calling Us Nut Balls Out!

Nicki Minaj gets loud and brightly expressive on the new cover pages of Black Book magazine’s Pop edition. Dig the photo opts and a few excerpts from the interview below..

On almost giving up her dreams... “I had no money, I had no one to call, and I was out on my own. I also had the burden of not wanting to tell my mother that I was out of a job, and could I come back home? Besides faith in God, the only thing that got me through that time was the fear of what would happen to my family if I didn’t make it. I remember thinking, I don’t know if this is ever going work but I’m going to give it one final try.”

On being compared to Lady Gaga... “We both do the awkward, non-pretty thing. What we’re saying - what I’m saying, anyway - is that it’s okay to be weird. And maybe your weird is my normal. Who’s to say? I think it’s an attitude we both share.”

On meeting men... “I’m not the type to be talking to a random dude in the club. Unless I know him, I don’t even want to be introduced to him, because it always turns into me being perceived as the ultimate whore-bag. I remember one time I saw a guy, someone famous, who was at one of my parties. I kissed him on the cheek and went to my seat, and they put up a story that me and him left together that night and went to a hotel.”

Nicki Minaj & Drake - Moment 4 Life Music Video and Behind The Scenes

Nicki Minaj & Drake take their tune 'Moment 4 Life' to a video directed by Chris Robinson. Nicki shows her acting chops by teaming with her fairy Godmother and giving us a sneak peak on what we think will be Nicki's next move, a video with Eminem for their explosive track 'Romans Revenge' that coincedently we think will be released around the time Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Rihanna hit the video screens as well. It's going to be an all out Pop Female battle. We can't wait to see what these lovely ladies will conjure up.

Nicki Minaj Looks Wicked In The New V Magazine

Just a couple days ago we previously posted Nicki Minajs' V Magazine cover. Now, thee entire editorial has been unleashed. In it, Minaj strutts a black and white painted face along with a sweet shade of pink lipstick. Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinood Matadin photographed the shoot.

Her wicked shoot features Nicki talking about her infamous alter egos. Like most complexed and driven artists, Minaj says that she allows her voices to speak and digs being a different person when she chooses.

"I just always want to do ‘me,’ but ‘me’ changes every day”. I would crumple up and die if I had to wake up and be the same person every day. I don’t silence those voice anymore. I just let them speak." She continues..."I’m an entertainer - I like to make people laugh”. Some will hate it and some will love it, but all will remember it. And that’s what I want to be remembered. Even if I’m saying something hard-core or controversial, there’s always a touch of humor, and if you don’t like it, it means I’m stirring things up inside of you.”

Below kiddas is the tune "Muny Material Girls", my favorite track (besides Roman's Revenge) off the debut album, Pink Friday. Dig it.

Nicki Minaj Plans To Stay In This Moment Forever

Nicki Minaj is truly living in her moment. With appearances on The Ellen D. Show and with covers like the new spring edition of V Magazine, it's safe to say, Minaj is staying put with both her serious side (as she appears above) and with her usual quirky crazy-faced self.

Tune: “Moment 4 Life”. Dig it kiddas.

Interview.

Here's an introduction to Minaj 101: For the small-minded, do the smart thing. Stop feeling sorry for yourselves. To the haters. She's not your enemy, she's your hero. Cheer-up.

NICKI MINAJ COVERS EBONY MAGAZINE

Nicki Minaj is everywhere nowadays (finally as a solo act rather than a feature)and it's all because of her highly awaited record, "Pink Friday" being released this past monday.

Now between Lil'Kim attempting to re-ignite her own career by creating unnecessary squabbles with Minaj, and apart from the brilliant rap tune we reported on recently, "Romans Revenge", Nicki's album itself is quite a disappointment (it's aim for commercial-super stardom is great but not when you have to push your own creative taste aside for label sake). But we understand entirely that alot of Americans need to be spoon fed just like everything else in film, art, fashion, foreign cultures, or social politics.

Which means she can't separate herself entirely from the sounds that may currently impact the Radio/TV airwaves. Nick Minaj obviously wants world domination but before that happens, scope out the featured six-page editorial of the latest issue of Ebony. Also, scope out a behind-the-scenes video that has Minaj collaborating with photographer Derek Blanks.

Below is Nicki Performing her current single "Right Thru Me" on the always hilarious and you'll never know what she may pull outta her wig, Wendy Williams Show!

Nicki Minaj & Eminem: 'Roman's Revenge' Song Premiere!

Alright, alright kiddas, so Eminem and Nicki Minaj have collaborated on “Roman’s Revenge,” a tune produced by Swizz Beatz, for Minaj's long-awaited debut album, Pink Friday. Both are undeniable talents, whether they're your cup of tea or not. Both are unapologetical rappers, and with this new tune, taking it to the next level, which is an expression used far too often in the hip-hop industry to express self-acclaimed brilliance, but in this case it's true! Dig two of rap’s largest and most toughest kats create a whole new sound for the future of Rap n' Hip-hop. Nicki’s album Pink Friday, is out November 22.

"Ruh ruh, like a dungeon dragon. Ruh ruh, like a dungeon dragon!"
