Gen Art Resurrection

On Thursday, November 4th, the Gen Art Foundation is hosting the Gen Art Resurrection Benefit to set things right for those who suffered monetary losses when the company claimed bankruptcy. Gen Art began as a foundation created to help emerging talent in the film and design industry launch their careers. For the benefit, Gen Art Alumni will make up the host committee and will include celebrities such as Edward Norton & Jeremy Renner, Kate Mara, and Whitney Port of Whitney Eve. Proceeds will go to emerging filmmakers and designers who suffered monetary losses when Gen Art claimed bankruptcy. In regard to the company’s recent losses, Co-Founder and CEO Ian Gerard stated: “In these trying economic times, every dollar counts to an emerging artist. To know that our business troubles had a negative effect on a group of young talent was unacceptable to us.” The event will take place from 8-11pm at the Hudson Hotel at 356 West 58th Street. - Nicole Simone

Burberry Launches New Winter Storm Collection

Burberry previously created its April Showers capsule collection in efforts to help with the wardrobe change for each season. So it should come as no surprise, with the winter weather creeping in on us, for the company to create its new Winter Storm collection. The winter wear line includes all things imperative to battling the cold, trench coats, knits, handbags and umbrellas. The color scheme mirrors the colors of the winter’s cold temperatures, snow and rain. Solid black or white, with touches of grey and dark nickel. Although the frigid temperatures of winter normally send us into hibernation, the collection’s quilted leather bomber jacket will have you looking incredibly chic and maybe a little excited for a winter storm. -Nicole Simone

Sienna Miller's Peaches and Cream Look

Sienna Miller in a peaches and cream look
by TopShop and Prada heels

As one of the judges on the panel for the Dinard British Film Festival, Sienna Miller has definitely been attracting a lot of attention and not only as one of the judges, but also as a style-forward fashionista. She has been attracting press from all over the place in gorgeous head-to-toe outfits by brands like her Twenty8Twelve, as well as a jaw-dropping dress by Isabel Marant.

In one of the most recent glimpses of the actress, she got an A+ again in a peaches and cream get up with a vintage-style short-sleeved sweater and adorable cropped peach trousers from TopShop. To add a little extra spice, she also added a pair of gorgeous Prada python studded sandals.

We can always expect this beauty to be on the style-watch.
