The elegant Diane Kruger has landed herself a 20 page spread in Italian Vogue shot by photographer Mark Seliger. Granted, Kruger used to be a professional model – this shoot is the definition of European high-fashion. With an old theater as the backdrop, Kruger shows us how to play with dark lighting and shadows. She slouches on chairs and chaise lounges- she lays on makeup dressers, runs from the camera, pretends she’s a show girl, all while being the star of her own theatrical show. And then there are the gowns. There’s the black one with the Gothic accents and low drop V-neck, the white angelic one with embroidered jewels, and then the strapless, grey toned ruffled frock accented with flowers. The necklaces and rings worn are very old world royalty and Kruger looks so flawless; you might believe this is her everyday life. Who wants to go see the opera right now?
