Event Alert: Diamonds in the Rough Charity Event
What: The Apareció Foundation presents "Diamonds in the Rough" charity event.
When: Saturday, October 16 from 7-11 p.m.
Where: DIRTT ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS Showroom Architectural Space, 325 N. Wells, Chicago, IL 60654
Details: A fashion/jewelry runway show and silent auction will take place with proceeds from sales of the luxury lifestyle brand and auction benefiting the Foundation’s work. For ticket prices, go to www.apareciofoundation.org.
Why: Aparecio is a nonprofit organization founded to accelerate the academic achievement of low-income, high-potential, minority women throughout Chicago through mentoring and special scholarships. As a new Foundation, they need to raise considerable funds through private donations, government grants, and their own creative initiatives with an ultimate goal of $1.5 million. DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH will be the first of their major fund-raising events. Through the generous support of quality companies and notable Chicagoans, we will have what is certain to be an extraordinary and memorable evening!
