Miss Universe is Venezuela
Venezuela's Dayana Mendoza is the new crowned Miss Universe 2008. She was one of four Latina's in the top five, including runner-up Miss Colombia Tailana Vargas, Miss Dominican Republic Marianne Cruz Gonzalez, Miss Mexico Elisa Najera, and Miss Russia Vera Krasova. "When I go back to Venezuela I will jump on my family and they will jump on me," said Mendoza. Before she starts her year of Miss Universe duties, she will make a quick stop in New York, then back home to Venezuela for some of mom's home cooking. Meet the new Miss Universe...
