CFDA Designers Doll Up Barbie

Last year for Barbie’s 50th, there was a runway show during fashion week to celebrate the doll’s rich history within the fashion industry. Since this was such a hit, this year’s birthday is being celebrated with the new launch of Mattel’s Barbie Basics doll who has been accessorized by top CFDA designers, including Isaac Mizrahi, Deborah Lloyd of Kate Spade, Betsey Johnson, and Tory Burch, among many more. These special edition dolls are being sold on eBay through February 7th, starting at $100, and all of the proceeds will directly benefit the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s education initiatives and scholarship programs.
