Elisabetta Canalis for Roberto Cavalli Underwear *VIDEO
Elisabetta Canalis (also known as George Clooney's leading lady) is the woman representing Roberto Cavalli Underwear in their Spring/Summer 2010 campaign. Eva Cavalli was the art director for the shoot, which was shot in London in November and has a nineteenth century feel including Louis XVI style sofas, gilded mirrors, and baroque upholstery. Photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot shot Canalis in a matching underwear set of animal print satin and black, a suspender belt, and a marabou feather trimmed silk robe. The line is sensual, seductive, and feminine, and they wanted the campaign to represent that. Roberto Cavalli said, “For my next underwear collection I was inspired by a real woman, with appeal, charisma and sensuality. [Elisabetta’s] Mediterranean beauty and intense appeal interpret an intriguing super-feminine woman.” -Emily Ekern
