Vera Wang Finally in Soho
Vera Wang recently opened her new store on Mercer Street is Soho . Wang already has an "it" spot on Madison Avenue, where her designer wedding gowns are sold, but for her ready-to-wear collection she needed a hip chic location. Where else but Soho ? Wang is really proud of her collection because she says it's more "her." Fashion icons came out to help celebrate Wang's new Soho store such as; Anna Wintour, Amy Astley, and Teri Agins. Sticking with a minimalist white, the Soho store's drama comes from the sky high ceilings that give it that depth and celestial feeling. The focal point is the staircase that divides the store in two and also acts as a display that bags, shoes and accessories are on. Vera Wang has created not only a store, but a world of its own for her shoppers to come in and loose themselves with her collection.
