With the current economic state we're currently in, it's no wonder designers have been forced to delve into other ventures. Zac Posen is hopping on the band wagon, being neither the first and certainly not the last designer to expand their designing empires to bring in more profits. Alexander McQueen is another designer who recently announced similar plans to expand his label to include children's clothing. Posen, who has been relatively tight-lipped over his exact plans for his companies expansion, has suffered from lower sales. Maybe his recent venture with designing a lower priced clothing line for Target had proven to be quite lucrative. So, I guess we'll keep our eyes open for the launch of Zac's new lines.-Kelly McIntosh
